Redox media (KDF 55 and KDF 85) is an innovative and highly effective non-chemical solution for water treatment that can eliminate up to 98% of water-soluble cations, including lead, mercury, copper, nickel, and chromium. The process of filtering water through KDF® media results in the transformation of soluble lead cations into insoluble lead atoms, which are then electroplated onto the surface of the media.
